InReach interface

Do you get tired from constantly moving you fingers here and there across the screen to tap tabs and menus? Do you find you have to clean your screen often? The InReach interface alleviates these problems by placing tabs and menu buttons at the bottom of the screen. Together with the physical menu button of Andoroid this allows you to perform almost all operations from the bottom of the screen with one hand, reducing the number of hand movements. The "just grab it and use it" concept is a key point of iLunascape.

Save a page to read it offline

Are you going somewhere you can't connect to the internet before you could finish reading a page? Just save it in iLunascape and read it later offline. iLunascape is a truly mobile browser that lets you view web pages anywhere, anytime.

Highlighted Search

The popular "Highlighted Search" function of the PC version is now available also in iLunascape. Simply highlight a word or a sentence with your finger to search.

Find In Page

Use the Find In Page function to locate a word within the page currently visible on your screen. When you execute a Find In Page search, the number of search hits will be displayed, and the search string will be highlighted wherever it appears within the page.

Tab Menu

To minimize finger movements, we have collected frequently used functions in a single menu, the Tab Menu. Here you find functions such as reload, add bookmarks, close tab, etc. This convenient menu makes your browsing even simpler and faster.

Seal in Browser

We introduce the Seal-in-Browser feature, developed in collaboration with VeriSign Inc. Japan. This feature allows you to see at a glance when a site carries the "Norton Secured Seal". This seal signifies that the site is verified on a daily basis not to be infected with malware, and that the website publisher is authenticated. Thus the site is confirmed to be safe and secure and users can browse the web site with no worries. Sites that conform to the Norton Secured Seal display the VeriSign seal band of light blue in the address bar.

Save pictures

Holding down on a picture will display the tap-hold menu, in which you can select "Save Image" to save the picture as a file. It will then show up in the "Files" list with file name, URL, date and size, and can be uploaded to Dropbox.

Switch tabs with thumb slide

Jumping between tabs is easy and fast with a "thumb slide" action, making it a trivial task to activate the tab you want with the same hand you are holding the device with.

Bookmark manager

Tapping the bookmarks button brings up the bookmarks screen including a history tab. Switching on Edit mode allows you to organize your iLunascape bookmarks by dragging-and-dropping them in your preferred order, as well as deleting unwanted items.

New tabs and background tabs

Hold down on a link or picture to display the tap-hold menu. To open it in a new active tab, select "Open Link in New Tab", and to open it in a background (inactive) tab select "Open in Background Tab".

Switch user agent

Switch user agent to view pages as they would appear in IE, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, Safari, Lunascape, or the mobile device of your choice.

Large Screen mode

In Large Screen mode, the title bar at the top of the screen will be auto-hidden, leaving more room for page contents on your screen. To show the title bar again, simply tap at the top-most part of your screen. Tapping on the InReach interface tab button hides the bottom tab bar, further increasing the browsing space. Tap the tab button again to toggle the tab bar visibility.

Online Bookmarks

Thanks to the compatibility of online bookmarks in iLunascape with Firefox sync, you can sync your bookmarks with your Lunascape or Firefox browser on a PC. In addition to downloading online bookmarks, you can also edit your online bookmarks in iLunascape.

Easy searching

Tapping the search button in the lower left corner brings up the search box, and another tap on the left of the box lists search buttons for major search sites including Amazon, Wikipedia etc.
